Onto the completed stuff:

First up, we have... The baby blanket and it's baby blanket I made for a friend's friend's baby. Don't think about it too hard.

I made it using really cheap acrylic yarn I bought at k-mart for less than $10AUD. It took 1.5 skeins of the green-blue yarn, and .5 skeins of the pale blue. It's not super soft, but it is able to be mashine washed! Which is probably better for new parents tbh.

Next, we have this shitty free-handed beanie!

This one's made using like, 1 skein? Maybe slightly more, of, again, really cheap acrylic yarn. This time from the 2 dollar shop that recently closed down! It's a significantly softer yarn, but also it's really warm. And cheap. I think the only downside of this completely freehanded beanie is I can't machine wash it because the pompom my sister made is... the successful attempt. I'm not allowed to be mean because she's 11 and knows what my website is.
